Iryna has been engaged in large-scale and challenging Banking & Finance and M&A transactions and arbitration proceedings since joining Andersen (Arthur Andersen) in 1998 and throughout her career. The majority of the Banking & Finance and M&A transactions handled by Iryna were of an international nature. Iryna advised on international commercial and investment arbitration and court disputes in the areas of banking, capital markets and financing, investment, construction and trade. She also assisted her clients in setting up their presence in Ukraine and abroad and provided legal support for their operations. Iryna was also engaged by P3DP, a USAID funded programme, as an expert on public-private partnership and participated in preparation of the draft amendments to the Ukrainian PPP law that had been recently passed by the Parliament.  Iryna has Master of Laws from University of London (British Council scholarship) and Master degree in Jurisprudence from Kyiv National Economic University. She also completed a number of important professional studies, such as FIDIC studies, ICC Arbitration Academy. Iryna is recommended by a number of international and local professional ratings.

Taras Tertychnyi has over 18 years of experience in cross-border transactions and dispute resolution work. Taras began his career as international arbitration and litigation lawyer in 2003. During the next 15 years, he represented Ukrainian and international companies in some of the biggest international disputes involving Ukrainian assets. He was involved in arbitration proceedings in the most prominent arbitration institutions and led or assisted international litigation teams in the courts of Ukraine, England, Germany, and several other jurisdictions. Since 2018, Taras has added international transaction work to his portfolio. He advised international and Ukrainian clients in loan, M&A, and joint venture transactions, conducted due diligence and provided business law advise on various matters of doing business in Ukraine and internationally. Taras also assists Ukrainian companies in establishing their businesses in foreign jurisdictions, including the US, Cyprus and other countries.

Olena has been practicing as both an in-house and outsourcing legal advisor starting 1994, the main areas of her practice to include construction and infrastructure development, land law, legal and tax structuring of foreign presence in Ukraine and support of Ukrainian operations (corporate, transactional and tax law, employment, safety, consumer protection, environment), national (Ukrainian commercial courts) and international (ICC, LMAA) commercial litigation. Olena also actively advised foreign and national companies in a number of projects financed by foreign institutions, such as EBRD (various infrastructure- related loans to Ukrainian municipalities, governmental authorities and private borrowers), Japanese Bank for International Co-Operation (loan to a Ukrainian state-owned company to finance a greenfield infrastructure project), Export Development Canada (loan to a Ukrainian state-owned company to finance state-owned silos’ renovation).

Ukrainian companies shall disclose their ownership structures by 11 October 2021 The Ukrainian Ministry of Finance approved new regulations regarding the disclosure of ownership structure of Ukrainian companies.
